If it rains how will the children take mask breaks? Are tents going to be outside? Will they go to the gym?
Assuming school is 7 hours a day, how do you expect kids with anxiety and sensory issues to wear a mask for for 35 hours a week?

Yes, a child may wear both a mask and a shield. The shields purchased will be made available to students.
Students will be reminded and required to wear masks at all times when indoors. Students who refuse to comply will be referred to their building administrator. Chronic refusal to wear a mask may result in moving that student to a remote learning class.
All children over the age of 2 are required to wear face coverings (masks) when indoors.
Students and staff who may not wear a mask for medical reasons will be able to attend in-person only if the district provided form is completed by the treating physician.
